We love the yurts!

This is our third time staying at the yurts. This time we brought our two dogs. Always a great stay. Yurts and the bathhouse are always so clean - the perfect "glamping" experience.

Lovely Yurt Overnight

Reminiscent of our earlier years living in a yurt, but much more upscale accommodations! The yurts are high quality construction, with custom wood tables, comfortable furnishings, quality kitchen set up, heat and solar lights! The bathhouse was clean and well lit, with large sinks for washing dishes etc. We enjoyed our overnight immensely. It was top notch! Thank you!

Glamping at its finest!!!

We loved our stay and the whole set-up. We had been seeking a yurt experience and this was beyond our expectations. And we got to bring along our beloved old Labrador, which made the experience all the better!

Beautiful yurt, great weekend

We loved our three night stay at the Bear yurt. The hosts really thought of everything! Very comfortable, clean and well stocked. We already look forward to another visit. Very close to Bethel for food and dining and the great outdoors for adventures. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Wow, thank you so much for such a great review! We can't wait to have you back again.

Best weekend of the summer

I had heard many good things about Western Maine Yurts. This was our first time staying with them. After our stay I can confidently say I would recommend them to anyone looking for a getaway in the mountains. It's the perfect spot for the most experienced camper to the the person who rarely goes in the woods. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us solid information about the area for things to do.

Magical!

We stayed at The Bear for two nights and wished we could of stayed longer. Our yurt was perfectly set up and felt like home. Libby, our pup, loved sleeping in front of the propane stove. The yurt was extremely clean and welcoming. Even the outhouse was clean and cozy! There was a bathhouse available, just a quick walk on a beautifully placed boardwalk in the middle of the woods. On one of the nights we stayed, it gently snowed, so we made a fire and turned on the stringed lights. It was absolutely magical. We also had the chance to walk the various trails that were offered. Very beautiful and easy trails to walk. We can’t wait to go back!

Thank you for your wonderful review!  We hope to have you back again soon!
